About

Welcome to Buddhing Traveler! I am a young Nichiren Buddhist, evolving into a practice that helps steady me as I journey through these rocky waters of solitude, loneliness, adventure and what we call human revolution, or internal growth. Attaining enlightenment is a journey in and of itself, and just as I am budding in my practice, I am also budding in my identity as a traveler and expat. I hope to fill my blog with all sorts of tales ranging from education, to music, to travel, to simple reflections about life.

I write to share my stories and experiences as I strive to formulate my own identity and further understand our connection to each other as human beings, in the hopes that they will touch my readers and awaken within them their innate curiosity and love for life. Life is beautiful, the world is beautiful…but as we hole ourselves away, glued to our I-phones and computer screens, we forget the amazing things that surround us. I share my stories with the hope that my readers will be inspired to go experience an adventure on their own, and that they too will find their own voices, their own passions, and share their own tales.

“Live with a dancing spirit. The stars in the heavens are dancing through space, the earth never ceases to spin. All life is dancing: the trees with the wind, the waves of the sea, the birds, the fish, all are performing their own dance of life. Every living thing is dancing, and you must keep dancing too, for the rest of your life!” -Daisaku Ikeda, Buddhism Day by Day, p394

Bienvenidos a Buddhing Traveler!

    Hello;
    Today; I visited your blog and read your one post too.
    Your blog seems very interesting, especially, that part;
    “a philosophy that believes in the inherent potential of every single individual”.
    “I write to share my stories and experiences as I strive to formulate my own identity and further understand our connection to each other as human beings, in the hopes that they will touch my readers and awaken within them their innate curiosity and love for life”.
    Wishing you all the best for your journey.

    “As you sow so shall you reap”‘
    Is a proverb which means that actions or deeds of a person repay him/her in kind. Origin of the proverb is traced to the Bible, Galations VI (King James Version): Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
